Our courses have been designed for beginner and techs who want to expand or just refresh their skills. Not only are our courses competitively priced but also have some of the longest training hours in the area. We do not see our students as a number but as real people who are wanting to learn. Once your training is complete we do not just hand out your certificates and say goodbye, we will support you for as long as you need to get started with your new career. Gaining new skills & knowledge can feel over whelming at times, so we like to take the courses at your pace. This is why we offer every student 1 extra training day after the course is complete free of charge

IS ACCREDITATION IMPORTANT ?

Once you have successfully completed an Accredited Course you can gain professional insurance & products. It also proves you have undergone and passed structured learning & assessments in that particular area. This can help lead to employment. All our courses have been checked & verified by ABT.

ARE NOT ALL COURSE’S ACCREDITED ?

NO. Unfortunately there are a lot of unscrupulous Training Facilities that claim they have accreditation to attract students. You should always check with their awarding body that they hold the correct accreditation in that particular course before you hand any money over. Whether its a Academy, Online, Private or Freelance, please check! just because they might display a logo doesn't mean ALL COURSES if any are accredited.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE ?

Due to insurance you need to be 16 years old by your first training session. We do however offer workshop classes for under 16's. Theses classes are intended to give the student a general overview into the industry/treatments and an insight into future Accredited Training. *A parent/guardian will need to be present throughout the whole session for under 16's.

WILL I BE GIVEN HOMEWORK ?

Yes, this is really important to the successful completion of your course. Learning new skills take time & dedication. The homework given to you at each session will help you progress to the next stage. This is another reason why we offer flexible learning. If you need more time between your sessions to complete your homework/practice, this will cause no issues. Unlike some other Training Facilitates you have the freedom to set your own pace.

WHAT IF I NEED MORE SESSIONS TO COMPLETE ?

To many Training Facilities will just take you money & run. What we mean by this is, they don’t care if your work falls below a passable standard, you paid your money, completed the sessions, certificate given, with no care about you or your future potential clients. We want your Accredited Certificate to be as important to you as it is to us. It would be unfair of us if we just issued your certificate to you just because you have completed the number of training sessions. We need/want you to be able to work within all Health & Safety regulations & use products/ equipment correctly. If you need more sessions to get you to standard then we can arrange this. Remember all students are entitled to 1 extra training session completely free. *In the unlikely event you need more sessions for training/assessments after you have completed your free session then theses will charged at a reduced rate.

We can not stress enough, please don’t try and rush your training & take the experienced advice of your Educator. We want to get the very best from you for YOU!. If we feel you might need more practice/time between sessions then we will let you know. This will help with your progress and possibly the need for extra training sessions.

CAN I FAIL MY COURSE ?

No, you can complete your final assessment as many times as needed to gain your Accredited Certificate.

We will not give up as long as you don’t. We want all students to gain the Accredited certificate, in the event of you choosing to stop training then you will receive a Acrylic session certificate. *please note, you will be unable to gain profession insurance &/or possible employment.

DO I NEED INSURANCE ?

Our insurance covers you when you attend your sessions, but unfortunately any case studies/practice completed away from our facility leaves you uninsured. We strongly recommend obtaining student insurance for courses that are more than 1 session. Once you have passed your course/s you can upgrade to professional insurance. When you book your course/s with us we will give you a code to receive a 10% discount on student insurance from ABT

HOW MANY ARE IN A CLASS ?

We offer face to face, 1:1 & duo sessions. If you & a friend want to train together you both will be entitled to a 20% discount. (Inhouse training available)

DO YOU OFFER INHOUSE TRAINING ?

Yes we do. If you have the suitable facilities then we can travel to you. You do not need to be a salon for inhouse training. Any larger group, club or Academy can book our inhouse training *restrictions apply

WHAT IS FLEXIBLE LEARNING ?

We understand that life can be hectic for us all, that’s why we offer flexible learning. You have the choice of 3 or 6 hour sessions that can be taken between 8am-9pm, 7 days a week. You can even choose to train weekly, fortnightly or even monthly on a day that suits you best.

Flexible learning is also fantastic for students who need extra time during their training. We can extend the time between your sessions to allow more practice at home if needed.

DO YOU OFFER FINANCE/WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY ?

YES! but our finance is the good kind. NO CREDIT CHECK. All we ask is for a 25% non-refundable booking fee at the time of confirming your training (at least 7 days prior your start date). This amount will be deducted from your full balance and the remaining balance will be divide by the number of sessions you will be taking. You can either pay by cash or bank transfer at the beginning of each session.

If you are wanting to pay in full you have 2 options

Option 1- 25% non-refundable booking fee to secure your training date/s ( at least 7 days prior to start date) Remaining balance to be paid at the beginning of the first session.

Option 2- Pay full balance at the time of booking

*PLEASE NOTE FAILURE TO PAY THE 25% NON REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE WILL DELAY YOUR TRAINING. ALSO NO CERTIFICATES CAN BE ISSUED UNTIL THE FULL BALANCE IS CLEAR

WILL I RECEIVE A KIT ?

YES, you will receive a complimentary start kit with the following course. You don't need to bring this with you to the sessions as we have an extensive range of professional products & equipment for you to use whilst with us. However wo do ask that if your kit contains brushes, you do bring them.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON MY TRAINING DAYS ?

We aim not only for you to gain new skills & knowledge but to also have fun! We like our sessions to be relaxed & enjoyable but rest assured always professional. Feel free to bring your dinner with you especially if you have chosen the 6 hour sessions (30min break for 6 hour session, 15 min break for 3 hour sessions).

If you are on one of our nail course please ensure you come to each session with bare nails. At times you will be working on yourself along with realistic training hands.

CAN I VIDEO MY SESSIONS ?

We actually encourage you to record the demo’s, this can help with your practice at home.

DO I NEED SPECIAL CLOTHING/UNIFORM ?

No, just be comfortable, but please don't wear clothing that could interfere with your training. Great care will be taken at all times to reduce elements such as dust with nails or over spray from spray tanning, please understand that we can not eliminate it 100%. So with this in mind we advise you not to wear your favourite/expensive clothing. Tunic or scrubs is a good option but also leggings & a comfy t-shirt works just as well. We will provide you with a apron to wear during each session.

Lets us know which course/s you are wanting to book. We will send you a simple agreement form for you to read, sign & return to us. Once the deposit is paid your training date will be secured.

CAN I BOOK 1 COURSE AT AT TIME ?

You certainly can. If you decide to book another course/s with us whilst still training, you will receive a 10% discount (this does not include the packages)

WHEN CAN I START ?

Some pre study is required before the start of your course/s. All courses require a 25% non-refundable booking fee, payable at least 7 days before your start date. Once we have received this payment your first manual will be sent by email (if you would like a printed copy of manual 1, just let us know & we can have this ready for you at your first session) Please read this manual & answer the knowledge questions if you can. Please do not worry about learning everything in this manual, we do not expect you to know it of by heart by the time you have your first session. This manual covers Health & Safety, Anatomy & physiology, Insurance, so we will be covering these in our sessions. We just want to gives you the heads up with the theory side of this industry.

DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE ?

All we ask is for all students to have at least MANICURE cert when undertaking any nail course with us. Having this knowledge will help with the understanding & training with the next courses that you wish to take. If you need to complete MANICURE training we can offer this at a reduced rate of £70 (normally £90) *this discounted price is only applicable when booking further nail course at the same time. If you are wanting to pay for MANICURE first then at a later date book other nail courses then the original price will apply, £90.

We strongly recommend that you complete BASIC ACRYLIC before proceeding with CREATIVE ACRYLIC. The CREATIVE ACRYLIC course has been designed for techs who want to expand their skills with acrylic.

WILL I NEED MODELS ?

Please feel free to bring a model for training purposes to your sessions ( session 2 onwards) We can help source models but ultimately this will be your responsibility . Don’t feel despondent if you can not find models, working on yourself is brilliant practice & sometimes the best !!

WHERE ARE YOU BASED ?

We are based in Goole. 20 mins walk/ 5 mins car from the train station.
